About the event
Join us as we celebrate Salem's 400th anniversary! This family-friendly festival shines a light on our history and community. Food at 400+ includes both free and pay/ ticketed events. Enjoy our exhibit at Old Town Hall and open houses at beautiful historic house museums around Salem; complimentary trolley ride and talks; a fun and delicious restaurant happening and historic sips at local makers; as well as a delectable film series. Our premier event will be a memorable evening, as we warmly welcome award-winning chef and descendant of the founder of Salem - Chef Scott Conant!

Free Exhibit at Old Town Hall (June 11–22): The festival opens with a family-friendly exhibit running the full 12 days at Old Town Hall in Derby Square. This serves as the festival’s home base and the starting point for several other activities.
