The Neighborhood Joint on the Wharf Founded in 2011 by North Shore natives Justin and Matthew Mattera, Longboards is the ultimate "come as you are" destination on Pickering Wharf. What started as a small sandwich shop called The Hungry Whale has evolved into a vibrant waterfront staple. While we’re inspired by the laid-back energy of the West Coast, we stay true to our New England roots with award-winning lobster rolls and a unique twist: our signature flatbread pizzas served on actual long boards.
